Seams are well sealed, but the lid could be a bit tighter to stop some edge leaks. I left the bottom rack out of the cabinet, which made it a lot easier to use the blaster (which has a short pickup hose) and to maneuver larger parts. Also allows you to shove the media towards the pickup as it depletes, because the bottom sides aren't steep enough to pile the media up around the pickup hose. A longstanding problem is visibility, in part due to an inadequate light. My solution: Put a cheapo HF LED light (with magnets) on glove side of box, which really helped visibility. My solution was to chop a 2.5\" hole in the sides, mount a hose fitting in the hole, and attach a particle cyclone to the hose-shop vac system (photo). I also fabbed an angled particle deflector out of scrap 22 gauge steel for inside the box, to keep bouncing media out of the vac system (see photos). This setup works great, and fines quickly clear out of the cabinet by the 3 hp shop vac.This and the added light greatly improved visibility, and can work for 10's of minutes without problems. With mods, it's a great cabinet.
